NEWS FLASH!!!! NorthStar has been awarded the 2023 Futurity Light Herdsire of the Year! He has also earned our farm the honor of being awarded Suri Herdsire of the Year Medium Farm Div. After 25 years of breeding suris we are blessed to have produced this male on our farm. Thanks to all our customers for entering their animals in the Futurity show and letting the alpaca world see what this awesome herdsire is producing. We can't wait to show off his next crop of babies this spring! Check out our females that are bred to NorthStar - his breedings are currently closed - please inquire if you are a previous customer and are looking at breedings to this very special herdsire.
Now.....a bit about NorthStar - 6X Judge's Choice Winner - 10X Color Champion - no doubt about this herdsire hitting the breeding circuit big time!
Northstar is a BIG boy with great substance of bone. His fleece is absolutely brilliant with luster to spare! And, the hand to his fleece is what we're all breeding for.....slick, no drag, and very cool to the touch and oh so soft. He also has a presence that commands attention! And, lastly, he is the easiest, most mellow herdsire we've ever had on our farm. Personality plus with this boy
