Sire: BRKRD Goldstar's Jet ARI#
32364064 Dark Brown Sadly, Jet was lost to the suri community in November 2019. However, he passed his best traits along to his offspring. Prior to his passing, here are his stats:
Jet has already done it in the show ring, and is starting his new career as a herdsire. He is extreme in every aspect that we look for in a top quality herdsire! He is loaded with lock, luster, and density. He has the killer head along with that amazing suri phenotype that we all crave. His sire and dam were both champions in the show ring as well. Jet's first cria are are on the ground and they are fabulous! Co-owned with Raynay Alpacas and Nebraska Alpaca Company.
Histogram results:
Follicular Density: 66.96 (True Density)
Glands: 3 of 4
Fiber clusters very symmetrical and uniform in size, shape and placement
Dr Evans summation: "Jet’s strong points are certainly his density, S/P, gland presence and low secondary modulation".
2018 NATIONAL SHOW
Goldstar's Jet was crowned 2018 Dark Get of Sire Champion. Jet is co-owned with Raynay Alpacas and Nebraska Alpaca Co. Jet's Dominion is the Supreme Light Male Champion!
2018 FUTURITY
Jet does it again! He takes the Dark Get of Sire class at the Futurity. What a way to go Jet!
Dam: Kantmis ARI#
32546644 True Black PRODUCER OF 2 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!
KantMis is a true back female with density to spare!
She has produced 3 amazing babies. First was Cynister. This young stud won Reserve CC at 2018 Nationals. Next was LaDue (sire is Jet) the 2019 Nationals brown CC. He is absolutely packed with coverage and dripping with luster.
In 2020 Kantmis produced a stunning black female out of Sierra Bonita's Peruvian Sniper. We decided to have her next date with Sniper's mulit-champion son Fir Meadow Sniper's Macgyver Too.
She has consistently produced dense animals that are packed with fleece from nose to toes. She has proven to be an excellent mom that is an easy birther with lots of milk! No doubt she will be a top producer for a long time.
Description
We fell in love with Ladue when we saw him at the 2019 AOA National Show - standout male and the genetics we wanted to add to our program. The judges apparently agreed - he was the 2019 AOA National Color Champion. His sire, Goldstar's Jet, was lost in 2019 - way too soon for a male of his caliber! We are very fortunate to have his son in our breeding program. Check out his pedigree and you'll agree - these genetics are worth having in your breeding program!
Ladue is a compact male, with good bone and body capacity. His fiber carries a wonderful handle and good luster throughout. And, while he showed as a dark brown, his 2nd fleece came in a dark rose grey!
First Ladue cria hit the ground and she didn't disappoint! WAP Dahlia out of Ladue was a home run. Her dam, Black's Sundae, was also a multiple color champion as a yearling.
