Presidio Son
Half Peruvian, half Bolivian, part Accoyo, Lock & Load is quite the macho man. Combining Accoyo Caligula and Get of Sire Champion Peruvian Presidio on the top of the lineage chart and Bolivian Chieftain B956 on the bottom, he's exactly what you'd expect from such an illustious pedigree. Lock & Load is the son of Austine F0379 AOA, the high-selling huacaya female at the 2003 Futurity auction. Austine's first cria, HRAZ Dulce de Leche, won every color championship for which she was eligible and sold for $30,000. Lock & Load is Austine's second cria. He's a beautifully conformed young male with rich, dense, pure white fiber, fantastic crimp, lock structure, brightness, and handle. He also has great coverage from dense topknot to toes. He has a high libido and can't wait to meet your girls. He was way too young to compete in the 2006 shows, and due to the previous owners' family demands he simply was not given the exposure at shows. However, this boy has it all and we are breeding him to four of our females now for 2009 crias.

Lock & Load has 4 offspring on the ground now, 2 males and 2 females. His first offspring, DMAR Magnum, just took 1st and Reserve Color Champion at the 2009 New Mexico Alpaca Show. The judge commented that Magnum's fleece felt like butter! Lock & Load is 1 of only 2 Presidio male offspring located in Arizona. Presidio's breedings are now closed. Simply compare Lock & Load to his sire and you will see that he is carrying the genetics. You too can get these genetics added to your herd.

Presidio's book is now closed, but we have a FEW OF HIS BEST SONS AND DAUGHTERS as well as ONE FULL PERUVIAN FEMALE BRED TO HIM for sale. Check out our listing for Hallelujah's Glori who is expecting her Presidio cria this fall. WE'RE MAKING PRESIDIO'S BREEDINGS AVAILABLE ONLY TO OUT CUSTOMERS THROUGH OUR PEDIGREE ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM. See the "Alpacas for Sale" page of xanadualpacas.com for more information. Presidio is perhaps the finest-producing son of Accoyo Caligula, and his dam, 3Peruvian Senna, is a fawn from the Sollocata region of Peru. He now has 7 "Get of Sire" wins to his credit & was 2nd in "Get of Sire" at the 2004 National Show, in what Judge Mike Safely called the "best Get of Sire class" he'd ever judged. When we stopped counting, his crias had over 65 color championships and over 90 blue ribbons. His daughter Xanadu P. Donno Bello, had the White Color Champion Fleece at the 2004 AOBA show, too.
