At just over 6 months old, Killian won the Light Color Championship at MAPACA 2005, the largest Alpaca show in the nation to date. Judge Tim Lavan recognized the quality of this young male, awarding him the championship over several Champion males,in an extremely tough line-up. He took his second Championship banner at the Virginia Classic 2006, before he was retired to a full time breeding career.
Killian has incredible character to his fleece. He is covered in tightly crimped, brilliant bundles of beige/light fawn fiber. His density is incredible. He settled his first females as of spring 2006 at not yet 2 years old and March 27, 2007 his first cria hit the ground running. Literally!!!!!
He has produced white, beige, light fawn & medium fawn. The cria have the "Killian Curls", density and fineness(15 microns). He has consistently improved on the fleece quality and density of the females he has bred.
