ARI# 32830392, D.O.B. 6/28/2015,
Sire: 5C's Contender ARI#
32401738 True Black
Contender------the son of our Cereza Negra and our Cascade of Sparks was one of those crias that you just know is special. Cereza has never disappointed us with the quality of her offspring, and the trend has certainly continued. This beautiful black male has one of the most consistent fleeces I have ever seen. His fleece is the same even down his legs and onto his belly. Beautiful true black fleece that is fine, with brilliant shine, impressive staple length and consistent crimp across his body. His frame is solid and strong. All traits we seek in our herdsires.
This beautiful male is the first cria from our Cascade. This is proof that show wins are not the only thing to consider when choosing breedings. Cascade did well in the showring, despite a tender fleece. We knew he had the characteristics we wanted so we allowed him to prove he could pass those traits on. He has done just that and has earned the right to prove it again and again.
Contender entered his first show at the age of 7 months and was awarded a blue ribbon in a class of 11 black juvenile males. He continued the trend by taking the Res. Champion banner. We knew he was nice, but it is wonderful to have his attributes confirmed by a respected judge, Amanda Vandenbosch. Contender followed that with a 2nd place at the highly competitive MAPACA and a blue at PAOBA. The judge strongly considered Contender for a banner at PAOBA and raved about his potential during his remarks.
Fall 2013, Contender won the Blue in a very competitive class of 15 black males. Kevin O'Leary sent him forward immediately after evaluating Contender and only halfway through the class.
Contender WINS First and Reserve Champion in fleece at the 2014 AOA/World Fleece Show. He also placed 2nd in an extremely competitive halter class of 15. Many of the males in this class were multi-champion males themselves.
Another win for Contender. In a very competitive black class, Contender won blue and then went on to be awarded the Res Champ Black Male at Empire Extravaganza 2014.
Contender has begun his breeding career and his first cria is a stunning fawn female from a fawn dam.

Dam: 5C's Cantata ARI#
32592726 Dark Fawn One of the last offspring of 6Peruvian Conan and our Crescendo. Conan was well know for lasting fineness in his fleece. Cantata’s fleece is typical of that and the density and brightness her mother produces. Cantata's fleece is one of the brightest we have ever seen not just produced. With fineness, density and beautiful structure, we think this fleece will take her offspring up a notch or two. You really have to see this fleece to believe it.
We chose our 6X Black Champion 5C's Contender to sire Cantata's first cria. She arrived in the middle of the night in all her glory. A medium fawn female with some serious fleece!!! The fleece is very dense, very shiny and is bundled into lots and lots of corkscrews. This cria has a very solid frame and a bit of an attitude. She's the queen of the cria crop as the youngest of all.
We have slashed Cantata's price as part of our efforts to downsize. She is currently open but is offered wth a breeding to any our our herdsires. Our choice would be Contender or Zephyrson.
Service Sire: TCB's Zephyrson ARI#
1191370 True Black Due Date: 2/2/2020 Zephyrson has proven himself to be a prepotent Herdsire. He is a true black son of 10x color champion Zephyrus, son of the renowned Accoyo Royal Fawn. His dam, 5Peruvian Indigo Ink, was a true black female selected on the last importation from Peru. Her name Indigo Ink was given to her at that time.
This male, although never shown, has proven himself to be the producer of top award winning crias stamping them with his trademark exquisite head, fine crimp fleece, full dense coverage from head to toe, and square correct conformation. He is producing all colors including black, grey, brown, and fawn. His crias uniformly have proud carriage, gorgeous heads, award winning fleece, and solid conformation. These crias all have that eye catching, attention getting qualities that are the hallmark of their sire.
We are thrilled to add this gorgeous male to our herdsire row. If you're wishing for that sought after "Teddy Bear" look stamped on your cria, with coverage from top to bottom, solid conformation and gorgeous fleece, this is the herdsire to produce it.
Every time I look at or touch this male I'm amazed. At 14 years of age this guy has no visible primaries anywhere......seriously!! This is what we should all be breeding for. Our first crias sired by Zephyrson were born in May 2018......both black females and they are stunning. Just what we expected.
Z will be 15 in April. We love what he has produced for us so far and we don't know how much longer he will be able to breed. We have a pretty long list of females to breed to him this spring.
Inquire about his availability.
Description
Cadenza is Contender's (6X Black Male banner winner) very first cria from our fawn dam, Cantata. They both have plenty of great color genetics in their background. Remember MFI Peruvian Jericho? How about Conan, sire to the infamous Lancaster? Yep, be sure to check her ARI. Cadenza's beautiful fleece is very exciting, consistent with beautiful character just like her sire. One can't help but notice the bright, well-nourished fleece as well. Be sure to check her fiber report.
Cadenza is pictured with her first cria from Zephyrson, who unfortunately did not survive. This cria was even better than we had anticipated. We have bred her to Zephyrson again and anticipate another stunning cria. Don't miss the opportunity to add this beautiful female to your herd.
