Sire: 5C's Chicago ARI#
35054887 Medium Silver Grey Gorgeous Classic Grey Male!
To say we are excited about Chicago is an understatement. Besides his beautiful phenotype, and bright, dense, well structured fleece........his genetics are just not available in our area. Chicago is a compact male with very solid bone structure and a mighty fleece. The fleece is dense, fine, consistent and has amazing structure. He finished his show career with Reserve Champion Banners in the Jubilee and the Gala at MAPACA 2018.
Chicago now has registered crias and almost all are classic grey or black. His genotype indicates that he does not carry dilution so that's not a surprise. All the crias have solid bone and conformation and exciting fleeces. The crias we have here are looking very exciting and the owners of all the others are very pleased. In fact, all breeders of his first crop have repeated the breeding at their farms. We invite you to come get your hands on them. We hope they will convince you to add Chicago's uncommon and outstanding genetics to your breeding program. He looks like he's prepotent for color, conformation and fleece characteristics. We have his some of his crias for sale and he is currently open to outside breedings.
Chicago's first cria to hit the showring earned a !st place and RC in her first show. Congratulations to Seven Acres Alpaca Farm on Chicago Blues' banner. The first of many banner winning offspring.
Crushed Velvet, another black female was awarded a CC in her first show.
Seriously, you don't want to miss adding his genetics to your breeding program. We will consider selling half-interest in Chicago.

Dam: DG Peruvian Midnight Jazz ARI#
32654462 True Black I thank my "lucky stars" everyday when I look at Jazz. She is truly everything we are looking for in our breeding program. We are excited to add DG Peruvian Midnight Jazz to our breeding program. While searching for black females to use with our line-up of Champion black males, I spotted this beauty at a show last fall. Not only is she eye-catching, she was 2nd in a very competitive class of black females. After getting my hands on Jazz I was pretty sure she was what I was looking for. After looking at her ARI I knew she was perfect because she is not related to any of our males. Jazz is from the bloodlines of the likes of Legacy, Titan, Victor and Jaxon. Then came the hard part......convincing her owner to sell Jazz.
Midnight Jazz is a well-grown female with great bone structure. Her fleece is fine and consistent and has great staple length and density. We think her crimp style will be a great combination with several of our males. Thanks to Kate Giorgi for allowing us to add this beauty to our program.
Jazz first cria is an outstanding black female. The density and staple length on this cria are just what we hoped for. . For her second cria we chose Captain Midnight as the sire again. This time they produced a light fawn male. He's very fine and keeps improving as we watch. Since Captain was at our partner farm when Jazz was ready to be rebred, we decided on Chicago to sire her 2020 cria. This is an exciting combination for sure.*********And on 10/24 Jazz delivered a stunning female who looks like she will be DRG. This little cria is totally adorable and she and Jazz are a sight to see. We named her Crickit and she is stunning. We will retain her as a foundation female.
Jazz's first two crias have been sold and we have serious interest in the latest one at 2 weeks of age. Now for the difficult decision........who do we breed Jazz to next? Bred to Braxton for the 2nd time for her 2024 cria!!!
Jazz's color genotype is Ee a2a1 Let's keep our fingers crossed for a black cria.

Service Sire: Estates Sakima's Braxton ARI#
35575078 True Black Due Date: 5/9/2024 We've been searching for a black herdsire to cover our Captain Midnight, Contender and Chicago offspring. We think Braxton is our guy.
We are so excited to announce that Braxton has been awarded the Color Championship in the Black Male Invited Champions at the 2021 National Alpaca Show in Grand Island Nebraska. Thank you to our partner Lynn Edens for showing Estates Sakima's Braxton. It is interesting to note that Braxton's sire, Patagonia Estates Sakima won Reserve Champion Black Male at the age of 69 months at this same show. That says a lot about the future.
Braxton and his wonderful combination of genetics are exciting for the future of black (and grey) alpacas here at Cinco C's Alpacas and Little Creek Farm Alpacas.
Braxton won again at the 2022 AOA National Alpaca Show in Ft Wayne, IN. He was awarded 1st and Champion Black Male in the Invited Champions Class for 2022. He's now back to work and we anxiously await his first group of crias.
Thank you to all you folks who have inquired about breedings to Braxton. Braxton's breedings are closed. Both farms have females bred to him for sale. His first crias have arrived and they stunning! Of his 14 registered crias 11 are TB and the other 3 are DB. There are two champions so far and I'm betting on more to come. The crias I have had my hands on are all very uniform with very bright, dense fleeces. We're excited to see the next round of crias from Braxton.

Description
WOW! Another gorgeous cria from Jazz. I really wanted to breed Jazz to Captain Midnight again but he wasn't here. Chicago had produced some nice black offspring from black dams so I opted to have him sire this cria. Crickit was not black but looked like brown with a white face when she was born. Not exactly what I had in mind. But now......Crickit is most definitely DRG. Straight and strong and loaded with attitude. The fleece is developing nicely and we're enjoying watching her grow. Exactly what we love!!
Her parents are two of our best!!!! Crikit has grown into a stunning young female. She is now bred to Braxton for a 2024 cria.
Color genotype is EEa2a2
