Huacaya, Female, Proven | True Black
ARI# 30622173, D.O.B. 11/14/2006, 1/4 Peruvian, 1/2 Bolivian
Sire: Velvet's Prince William ARI#
832674 Bay Black 1/2 Chilean, 1/2 Peruvian - William is son of our best-ever rose gray dam Greta. He shares her exquisite fineness, and sired by a full Accoyo Camilio son, he has all the density, bundles and shine that you could dream for. Crimp like a merino, holding it all together as he moves into middle age. At age 7 he still has the fleece of a one-year old. Color Champion in classes when he was 3 against juveniles, judges always comment on his fineness exceeding the youngsters. Crias exceed expectations - has produced silver and rose whenever bred to it, two 2nd places at Futurity, 2nd at Nationals, hoping to get more of his cria to the shows this season and next! All have that incredible Greta-fineness and high frequency crimp in gorgeous colors. Throws a beautiful head. We are looking forward to putting his daughters under our new silver, Imbroglio to concentrate on that merino-type fleece in color.
Dam: LGR Morning Rose* ARI#
825820 Medium Rose Grey 1/4 Chilean, 1/4 Peruvian, 1/2 Other/Unknown - Rosey is a proven dam, who has produced both rose grey and true black offspring. She has excellent conformation and a fleece with a soft handle and moderate crimp. She is a very protective dam, has an abundant supply of milk, and delivers high IgG's to her crias.
Rosey just delivered a dark silver gray/black son out of The Rebel. Grandson of one of Australia's top studs, "Accoyo Peruvian Pluro", The Rebel is a magnificent animal and has the distinction of being the highest priced gray junior huacaya herdsire in alpaca auction history. The Rebel was chosen for his flawless conformation and dense, crimpy fiber, as well as his uniform gray color and the extraordinary head-to-toe coverage he inherited from his father and grandfather.
Rosey's female cria from 2005, Rosey's Wild Rose has tiny tightly crimped fleece, density and a very soft handle, with exceptional bundling. Wild Rose placed 2nd in a class of 9 at the 2006 AOBA National show.
