Description

Nemo was named after the little fish who could do anything the bigger fish could do. Nemo is the cutest little man on the farm. He is personality plus. We don't know what happened with Nemo during gestation but he was born very small and has continued to grow normally but is very small. We have had a number of animals out of his father with offspring of size and beauty so we believe Nemo was just a unusual outcome of what should have been a normal breeding. We did breed his Mom at a very young age which could have been a reason for an abnormal gestation, but regardless, we got Nemo and he is a wonderful little doll of an alpaca. He is healthy with normal growth and development just undersized. He could be considered a mini alpaca.

Nemo will make a wonderful pet or small fiber animal. His fiber is luxurious, fine and of good quality. To give you an idea of his size the picture to the right is at 7 months and the white alpaca with him is one week old. We really would like Nemo to have a hood home who will not use him for breeding. We would recommend neutering Nemo and would certainly arrange for that procedure should you decide to buy little Nemo. Nemo is a chow hound and can find his way to the feed bin regardless of how his friends in the pasture push him around.

If we were to find a good home for Nemo we would consider a companion sale animal to keep Nemo company with this sale. This little man would make children a great pet. He is extremely friendly and curious.
